Love at the Colony South
Have you ever passed by a place again-and-again and wondered what it was like on the inside but never found a reason to go inside? That was my experience with the historic Colony South Hotel & Conference Center in Clinton, MD. For several years I passed by this grand hotel but never found the occasion to view it beyond street level – that is until recently, when I had the honor of photographing an outdoor wedding held in the courtyard of this elegant facility.
This wedding was a pleasant break from our recent norm. Most recently we have been spending the bulk of my photographic time on headshot photography for actors, models, and others with website photo needs along with event photography, which included event coverage and providing onsite printing services for parties, concerts, birthdays, church socials, and corporate events. However, we were more than happy to oblige the request of an excited couple to provide them with our wedding photography services. Even though it was a request that would cause us to drive from Greensboro, NC to Stafford, VA to Clinton, MD for the big day, we were glad we made the trip! We had a great time and it was a beautiful occasion made even more special by the music ministry of Richard L. Jones – a gifted pianist and vocalist.
